Wingshooting at Ruggs is an experience that you will not soon forget. Our wild and preserve bird hunting combined encompasses over 86,000 acres. Our kennel is armed with seasoned English Pointers, Springer Spaniels, and English Cockers eager to join the next hunt. Adam Sande is our resident dog trainer. He brings 20 years of dog training, preserve and wild bird guiding, and horseback hunt experience to the ranch. He is very capably backed up by numerous full time guides ready to guide you on your world class wingshooting adventure.
Whether you’re hunting on our 8,000 acres of preserve ground, or doing our wild bird walk-up or horseback hunts, you will encounter hard flying Pheasant, Chukar, Quail and Hungarian Partridge, all in their native habitat, with no bag limits. Our ample food, cover and water ensure that our native bird populations stay vibrant, and our ability to hunt over such a vast acreage means we don’t over-pressure the population, and it also means you could visit Ruggs Ranch for many seasons and never hunt the same ground twice.
